Hey traders.
The Lucid half of my desk is up. Five Lucid accounts, one order. Sierra Chart drives one lead account, and Rithmic's Trade Copier sends that order to the other four.
Here's the setup, with a live order copying across all five accounts (9 minutes):

The setup is the easy part. The part that caught me out is one setting.
Sierra Chart saves the Trade Account choice on every chart separately. Switch accounts on the chart you trade from, and every other window keeps whatever it had last. If one tab still points at a follower, the next order placed there skips the lead and the whole copy structure. One account ends up long while another is short. Lucid counts that as hedging, even for a few seconds. I got flagged for it twice.
My rule now: before any order, every chart and every DOM that can trade shows the same lead account. After the order, I check all five accounts in Rithmic before I place the next one.
Trading Topstep instead? Same idea from Sierra Chart, with the free bridge I built, since TopstepX doesn't give you a direct connection:

The bridge code is open source and runs on your own machine:

Next video is backtesting. I took a strategy that made money on one contract in a backtest, fixed one line in the pipeline that reads the data, and the same strategy lost money. The data was fine. The pipeline had never been checked. So the video is how to backtest in Sierra Chart without fooling yourself.
Before I finish it, I want to know what you'd put in it. Where does your backtesting get stuck? What have you never been sure you were doing right? Any question at all, hit reply. And if you trade prop firms, tell me which one and how you've got it set up. Every email comes straight to me, and the good ones end up in the video.
